‎~What makes MY COOKIES different?~

They are made by ME! I use NO added sugars or preservatives. I try to find UNIQUE ingredients & pair them up unusually! I address the smaller TINY babies with TINY (I think I hold the record for TINY!) cookies. I LOVE that my packaging & containers are Different and limited, so that you have a SPECIAL treat!

Write a Post, Help a Dog with Pedigree 2011

BlogPaws the Conference for Pet Bloggers, Pet Brands, and Pet Health Care Professionals is only a day away now and in honor of the occasion Pedigree has decided to launch a Write a Post, Help a Dog Campaign. For those of you who missed the event last year in September 391 bloggers wrote about the program and with each post, Pedigree donated 20 pounds of its Healthy Longevity dog food to shelter animals. In all, 7,820 pounds of food was donated to two shelters known across the country for their dedication to the care and re-homing of senior dogs:Muttville Senior Dog Rescue in San Francisco and Castaway Critters in Harrisburg, Pa.

How you can help in 2011

Simply spread the word about Write a Post, Help a Dog 2011 and once again Pedigree will donate 20 pounds of food for each blog post.  If you don’t have a blog feel free to tweet about the campaign or share on Facebook so your friends who do blog can participate. All bloggers are welcome even if you do not generally talk about pets on your blog. Its all about using Social Media for Social Good.

Here’s how it works:

• The Write a Post, Help a Dog program is aimed at raising awareness of the more then 4 million dogs that wind up in shelters and breed rescues each year. As well as to help get them all food (our goal is 10,000 lbs of food in the next two weeks) for the more than four million dogs that wind up in shelters and breed rescues each year.
• For each blog post mentioning the Pedigree Foundation from now until midnight ET on September 3, Pedigree will donate 20 pounds of its new dry Pedigree recipe food for dogs — its best recipe ever — to a shelter, because every dog deserves leading nutrition.
• Feel free to mae your post more visually appealing by using either or both of the two images seen in this post.
• The Pedigree Foundation — a 501 (C)(3) nonprofit organization is committed to helping dogs by providing grants to shelters and rescues and encouraging dog adoption. This year the Foundation has already raised more than $376,570 against its goal of $1.5 million to carry out its work to fund grants that not only help shelters operate, but to further shelter innovations.

The Pedigree Foundation depends on charitable contributions from individuals to carry out its mission to help dogs find loving homes. In addition to writing a blog post, here’s how you can help:

More Places we have Visited on Laineys Virtual Road Trip!

In Florida Laineys Virtual Road Trip went to see a Space Shuttle.  WE TRIED to get ON.... But do you KNOW what they said???? "NO DOGGIES ALLOWED IN SPACE!"  So we had to settle for sitting on the "MOON WALK"  haha get it.... instead of the Cat Walk.... ANYWHOO we SURE are seeing alot of COOL things the United States has to see!  Well BACK in the Car to our NEXT State....OH NO... It's Our OWN home state, Illinois....*we ca pick up some Clean Clothes and stock up on COOKIES!!  B.O.L.!!

Laineys Virtual Road Trip went to New London, CT to see the Soliders & Sailors Civil War Monument in Honor of our Cousin being a Solider in Iraq!  The building SURE was TALL!!  *Thanks @Buddy for letting us Visit with you!

We are in Colorado... HAD TO GET some Skiing in!  Okay we didn't REALLY SKI!!... just sat in the cool snow and watched!  Laineys Virtual Road Trip went to Colorado :O)

Here we are in Arizona on the Old Route 66.  There is LOTS to see here!  Laineys Virtual Road Trip ALSO came to Indian Cliff Dwellings, with Rickery bridges over deep gorges in Arizona!

Here we are in Alabama... We went to Little River Falls in National Falls.  It's a GOOD thing we have GOD BALLANCE!!!  We DID get a little wet but it SURE was Peaceful!  Laineys Virtual Road Trip Came to a TOWN in Alabama!

Our Virtual Road Trip!

            I was talking to furends @Monique Balthazar Tagliavia & @Mooshue Dixon and came up with the idea of a Road Trip....Something about ME driving and Cookies being involved..... B.O.L.!! 

Since I CANNOT physically drive around the Country (but wouldn't it be so cool to do!) why not do the next best thing! I thought it would be FUN if we could meet new furends & their Humans, go to new places see new faces and share some Lainey Cookies.If you would like to join us Kitteh's or Doggies. Please message me with your name and address if you are a kitty or doggie BY July 15th or Until We reach 100 anipals. Than we will set the Tour for Destinations Unknown......or known.

RULES ARE:

1) You will receive TWO cookies from Lainey

2) You must take a picture of your baby with the cookies and post it on our fan pagehttp://www.facebook.com/La​ineysPawtiqueBakery with your name and your state.

3) Tell us a little something about you. We ALL want to get to know you!

4) IF YOU WANT and this is TOTALLY OPTIONAL you could pay a 50 cent Gas Tax to be donated to a shelter to be announced by the start of the Road Trip

5) Only ONE visit per Household. and ONLY U.S. Residents... SORRY :O(
